Calculating Perimeter of Triangle

Calculating Perimeter of Triangles:

If  large Delta ABCsim Delta PQR  then prove that frac{AB}{PQ}=frac{BC}{QR}=frac{CA}{RP}=frac{perimeter(Delta ABC)}{perimeterDelta PQR}

Proof    Given  large Delta ABCsim Delta PQR

large Rightarrow ;frac{AB}{PQ}=frac{BC}{QR}=frac{CA}{RP}

 Let large frac{AB}{PQ}=frac{BC}{QR}=frac{CA}{RP}=k

large Rightarrow     large AB=k(PQ),BC=k(QR),CA=k(RP)

large therefore     large AB+BC+CA=k(PQ+AR+RP)

large Rightarrow ;;frac{AB+BC+CA}{PQ+QR+RP}=k

large frac{AB}{PQ}=frac{BC}{QR}=frac{CA}{RP}=frac{AB+BC+CA}{PQ+QR+RP}=frac{perimeter(Delta ABC)}{perimeterDelta PQR}
